What is Drum for Pele?

Welcome to Drum for Pele, your gateway to self awareness. Drum for Pele was founded by Brian Madigan. Brian is located in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. He is a Babalawo (Priest of Orunmila initiated by the Ifa Foundation of North America), a certified Reiki Master (Seichem system), certified practitioner of Hawaiian Energy Work (Ho’o Manaloa), Master Practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming, and certified Zen Shiatsu Therapist,). He has been a student of esotericism and human development for the past 30 years. Brian’s heart based approach and centred insights will make him an invaluable guide as he coaches you through your personal transformation. Brian's Qualifications

My Mission is to assist people as they grow, personally and spiritually, by helping them integrate modern and ancient wisdom into their lives. My belief is that this deepening relationship with themselves will allow them to further their contributions to their communities and the planet.

My Background:
For the past 15 years I have been studying various modalities within the alternative healing field while continuing a very successful corporate career and maintaining a small but thriving personal transformation practice.

I have been using the Hawaiian energy work system (Ho’omanaloa) since 1993 and completed my initiator certification in the autumn of 1998.

In 1994 I completed my Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner level certification and used these skills in a business context as well as with clients in my practice.

In 1995/96 I completed a 240 hour course in Zen Shiatsu. I established a successful practice combining Zen Shiatsu and Hawaiian Energy (Ho’omanaloa) work in early 1996

Through 1998 and 1999 I completed Reiki certifications up to level IV (Master) in the Seichem system.

I completed my Neurolinguistic Programming Master Practitioner level certification in late 2003.

I completed my initiation as Babalawo (priest) with the Ifa Foundation of North America in November 2007.

My approach is to use the tools at my disposal to create a model that will assist any client in reaching for the knowledge and wisdom that will allow them to achieve their destiny.
